Plain
This territory is perfect also for cyclists who love ride much more soft. In fact thanks to its structure (7 plain valleys) and location, in this land you can ride km and km in a flat way, without taking away the feeling of being in the mountains, cycling through its valleys, admiring its beautiful pine forests and enchanted lakes and plunging into a land full of culture, flavors, customs, reaching the lower Friuli area with wonderful city like Cividale del Friuli, Gemona, Venzone until reaching the SEA!
“No trafic” and “perfect roads”
Usually, during summer, in the most Dolomite passes you do not have the sensation to leave the metropolitan big city, due to traffic and smog for too many cars, van and moto. Carnia is different, even in August you can ride km and km alongside creeks, forests, reaching wonderful huts, without ever being bothered by traffic, along perfect paved roads with no holes.
The authenticity of the territory
Carnia shines in his history, it’s still intact with visible roots, not affected by mass tourism. Prices in the activities are always the same, in winter and summer, don’t increase in August or December. You will enter a bar and find people drink a glass (called “tai”) of wine speaking an unknown language. In the bar/restaurants you will find only indigenous people that love their Carnia!
